Our work team wore our Seeds of Learning T-shirts to Christ Church United Methodist today for the blessing and send off. Rev. Kimberly Willis invited us to form a circle at the end of the service; everyone participated in the laying on of hands as part of the blessing. Earlier in the service, Ted and Troy Wilmsen led the Children's Time. Troy delighted the children with his balloon magic. Ted shared photos of the first trip of Christ Church friends in 1996 when they went to Nicaragua and even worked at the same place for one day. So, off we go -- in the middle of the night tonight!!!
